PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING VINTAGE PANTS/JEANS
- There is no dispute that vintage garments fit different
than pants or jean being made today, sometimes were unisex cut. Vintage
pants, particularly from the 1930s-1950s, often had a longer crotch
line and a looser fit compared to modern trousers which means they
typically had a longer rise, or the distance from the waistband to the
crotch. we advise that you take a good
fitting pair of jeans, then compare measurements with the measurements
listed here...just using the waist size is not a very good indicator of
a good fit.
