Vintage Florenza Style Perfume Locket / Vinaigrette Pendant with Tassel – Sold As Seen
A large and decorative vintage perfume locket or vinaigrette pendant in the Etruscan Revival style, very much in the manner of Florenza. The body is a hinged, opening ball, with pierced cagework, rope-twist bands and applied scroll and rosette decoration. It is set with turquoise-coloured glass cabochons and small red paste stones.
The pendant opens on a side hinge to reveal a hollow interior for a scented pad. A ribbed gilt cap hangs beneath, with a long tassel of fine foxtail chains, and there is a jump ring at the top for hanging.
Unsigned gilt base metal. Attributed to Florenza on style only, as there is no signature.

Condition: Sold as seen. Some stones are missing, and there is wear to the gilding, with base metal showing in places, including around the hinge. There is some discolouration to the interior. Please look closely at the photos before buying.
