Santana’s Original Album Classics gathers five late‑70s and early‑80s releases, charting the band’s shift from Latin‑rock roots into AOR, jazz‑fusion and polished radio‑leaning styles. The set highlights their evolving sound: tighter songwriting, smoother production, and a blend of Afro‑Cuban rhythms with rock, funk and soul influences.

Inner Secrets
A slick, radio‑friendly mix of rock, soul and Latin touches. Includes Dealer/Spanish Rose, One Chain, Stormy and Open Invitation.

Marathon
A bright, melodic album with strong AOR leanings and smoother production. Features Lightning In The Sky, Aqua Marine, You Know That I Love You and All I Ever Wanted.

Zebop!
A confident, hook‑driven record balancing rock, Latin rhythms and pop‑fusion. Includes Changes, Winning, E Papa Ré and Tales Of Kilimanjaro.

Shango
A rhythmic, Afro‑Cuban‑infused set with punchy grooves and early‑80s sheen. Highlights include Hold On, Nueva York, Oxun and What Does It Take.

Freedom
A return to more socially conscious themes with a warmer, roots‑leaning sound. Includes Veracruz, Songs Of Freedom, Mandela and Victim Of Circumstance.
