Academy's 12377 B-25J Mitchell "Glazed Nose" is a
1/48 scale injection-molded plastic model kit of the famous
American twin-engine medium bomber used during World War II.
This Academy release uses the well-detailed HK Models 1/48 B-25J tooling and represents
the glazed-nose bomber configuration of the B-25J.
Two historically based aircraft marking options are provided, allowing the builder to choose
between a Pacific Theater aircraft and a Mediterranean Theater aircraft.

B-25J Mitchell "Glazed Nose"
The North American B-25 Mitchell was one of the best-known American twin-engine medium bombers
of World War II. The B-25J was the final major production version of the Mitchell family.
This kit represents the glazed-nose B-25J, featuring the distinctive transparent
forward bombardier's section rather than the solid gun nose used on dedicated strafer versions.
The large 1/48 scale provides substantial size and presence when the model is completed.
