Poison marks Jay‑Jay Johanson’s third album, blending trip hop, jazz and electronic pop into one of his most atmospheric and brooding works. Following the success of Whiskey and Tattoo, the album became a hit in Sweden and France, with singles such as Keep It A Secret and Believe In Us gaining strong alternative radio support across Europe. Contributions from Cocteau Twins founder Robin Guthrie add shimmering guitar textures to Johanson’s dark, cinematic sound. Despite its themes of betrayal and misunderstanding, Johanson’s dry humour remains present throughout. Poison continues to be a fan favourite and a key release in his discography. This limited Music On Vinyl edition includes a 4‑page booklet and is restricted to 500 individually numbered copies on crystal clear vinyl.
