Description
ANTIQUE BLUE WILLOW PLATTER
Gorgeous antique blue and white transfer decorated semi-vitreous ceramic rectangular deep platter measuring 16" long by 12-1/2" wide. Featuring a crisp Asian inspired BLUE WILLOW pattern, back bears the BUFFALO Pottery 1911 mark as shown.
Condition is very nice with no chips, repairs, or damage other than faint utensil marks, tanning on the back with soiling from old tape residue as shown. Platter has been wall displayed for years and retains two hangers with rubber wrapped ends, as well as bumpers on the back to protect walls and keep platter from moving while hung - these can be removed if desired as can the hangers, but will leave for new owner to decide. Platter is deep to allow juices to collect and size is large and dramatic. Hoping someone would like this for their collection or as a wall display piece - it is beautiful - lovely addition to any table, home, or collection.
