This is a 6 7/8" long silver plate fork with 'Bishop's' engraving on the handle tip. Marked on back 'Wm. A. Rogers Hotel Triple Plate Oneida Ltd.' This fork is part of the flatware used in a restaurant/cafeteria/buffet chain that had its beginning in Waterloo, Iowa. Bishop's Cafeteria was very popular and grew to over 35 locations scattered throughout the Midwest, before closing in 2012  Bishop's was famous for providing  upscale touches like white linen table cloths and napkins as well as heavyweight silver plate utensils. Favorite dishes included chocolate ambrosia pie, turtle ambrosia pie, and fried chicken.
