Set of 4 Vintage 1881 Rogers A1 Silverplate Soup Spoons
Approximately 7” long
circa 1900
Offered here is a handsome matched set of four 1881 Rogers A1 silver-plated soup spoons, each measuring approximately 7 inches long.
The spoons feature attractive early 20th-century decorative handles with elegant linear borders, a stylized scroll/floral motif at the top, and geometric detailing toward the lower handle. The bowls are nicely rounded and generously sized, making these appropriate as soup or round-bowl/gumbo spoons.
Each spoon is clearly marked on the reverse:
1881 ROGERS A1
These are silverplate, not sterling silver.
Condition:
Estate/vintage condition with normal signs of age and use, including tarnish and light surface scratching. There is no obvious major bending or damage. The spoons would benefit from additional gentle silver polishing and should present very nicely when further cleaned. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
Measurements:
• Approximately 7” long each
• Set of 4 matching spoons
A nice opportunity to add four matching pieces of vintage 1881 Rogers A1 silverplate to an existing service or to use as an attractive four-piece set.
Please note: These are silver-plated flatware and are not sterling silver.
