Condition is honestly described as a used vintage card, roughly 37 years old. Light surface scuffing and handling marks are present on the prism foil, most visible when tilted under direct light. The reverse shows light edge wear and minor whitening along the printed border, which is where wear shows first on this stock. Corners are slightly softened but not bent. The artwork, text, logo, and foil pattern are all clear and fully intact on both sides, and I see no creasing, no writing, and no tears. Please review all photos carefully, which are of the actual item, and judge the condition for yourself.
Important Note: This is a vintage Japanese collectible card sold through Carddass vending machines in Japan, not a modern trading card game card, and it is not usable in any current TCG format. The number "200" printed on the front is the card's in-game point value as part of the original design; it is not a serial number or a limited print run figure. As this card is ungraded, the condition above reflects my own assessment.
Collector's Insight
Dear Collector,
Carddass was Bandai's vending-machine card system, and in Japan at the end of the 1980s it was everywhere - a coin in the slot, a card out of the chute, and a prism one if you were lucky that day. Super Mario Bros. 3 had arrived in October 1988 and was the biggest thing in the country. This card comes from that exact moment.
Card number 2 is Bowser himself: World 8, 200 points, and all four attack icons crossed out in red - the card's way of telling an eight-year-old that nothing in their arsenal works on him. The reverse carries the full Super Mario Bros. 3 key illustration, the one with the checkered floor and the whole Koopa line marching down the hill, which is a piece of artwork most collectors outside Japan have only ever seen on a screen.
These were sold for pocket change and were never meant to survive. This one did, with the honest wear of a card that was actually bought from a machine and carried around. Nothing has been hidden, repaired, or touched up.
This is not just a collectible--it is your personal time capsule to the birth of a global icon. As the legend continues to rewrite baseball history, owning this pristine gem means you are a guardian of its legacy. Years from now, this will be more than an investment; it is a piece of the eternal diamond.
