Li Yong Tong Bao (εˆ©η”¨ι€šε―Ά) One Fen | Wu Sangui | Early Qing Dynasty (1674 AD) | Reverse "One Fen" (θƒŒδΈ€εˆ†) | Certified XF88 | Authentic Chinese Ancient Coin

The Li Yong Tong Bao (εˆ©η”¨ι€šε―Ά) was issued during one of the most turbulent periods in Chinese history. It was cast by the famous military leader Wu Sangui (吳三摂), who established the short-lived Zhou Kingdom (倧周) during the Revolt of the Three Feudatories against the Qing Dynasty.

In AD 1674, Wu Sangui adopted the reign title "Li Yong" (εˆ©η”¨) and began issuing his own coinage to demonstrate political independence and finance his military campaigns. These coins circulated only for a very short period, making them among the most historically significant and collectible coins of the Early Qing Dynasty.

This large denomination "One Fen" (δΈ€εˆ†) variety is one of the better-known issues of the Li Yong series. The reverse bears the denomination "δΈ€εˆ†", indicating its silver accounting value. Compared with ordinary Qing cash coins, these large bronze issues are substantially scarcer and are highly sought after by collectors of rebel coinage.

This specimen has been professionally authenticated and graded XF88 (极美88) by Bao Cui Coins Rating, displaying strong characters, attractive original surfaces, and excellent preservation.
