This is an early Minneola Brilhart Tonalin alto mouthpiece in excellent condition, no cracks anywhere, seals great. Except the bite plate shows much wear from teeth. I will send it with a bite pad. It is more scuff than deep indent.
Marked a 3* tip measures at 75 on my gauge.
These are essentially the same as a Great Neck. There are no known design changes between the two periods, that came later with the cross country move to Carlsbad. Serial number places it in the late 1940s.
Plays with a very bopish vibe as it should. Its fun to play and you can lean into it.
Non original cap and ligature included.
Priced low for the cosmetic issue. If you've only ever played Carlsbad Brillys you are in for a treat.
