Great quality, Benham produced, hand signed, Royal Air Force 50th Anniversary first day / dawn cover with a Forces Post Office double postmark dated 16th September 1986 and a matching set of 5 x Royal Mail commemorative stamps released on that date.  

In excellent condition and flown in preserved Lancaster Bomber PA 474 'City of Lincoln' from RAF Conningsby.

Limited edition no. 20 of 50 and includes an information card with details of the RAF Lancaster bomber and Hurricane fighter.
 
Autographed by Air Chief Marshal Sir Michael William Patrick Knight KCB, AFC, whom was a notable British RAF and NATO commander during the Cold War.
