Stiles Herman Mfg Planishing Autobody Hammer. Measuring 16 13/16" overall, the head is 5 5/16" long, the larger face is 1 7/8" in diameter, the smaller face is 1 9/16" in diameter, and this weighs 2 lbs 4 1/4 oz unboxed. The Stiles Herman Mfg Co was founded in 1928 as a maker of autobody tools and in the early 1930's the name was changed to Stiles-Barrett Co. This is in decent condition and was cleaned. There is some overall light patina on the head. The larger face has some light dings, but the small face does have some deeper dings. The eye looks to be good. The handle is original to the tool. That has some discoloration from being wrapped with old cloth electrical tape, a chip off of the end, and some dings, but overall it feels solid enough to use. This ain't pristine, but it sure is not a very common tool either. A good collectible old hammer for sure!

All items for sale unless otherwise noted are purchased and in most cases professionally restored by me. I take pride in offering quality items. Not everything is perfect, but it is as I say it is. Also, I smoke a pipe, drink whiskey, both cheap and good, and cuss more in a hour than most folks do in a month. If any or all of the above bother's ya, well then we ain't got no reason to be doing business.

I am happy to combine shipping on purchases. The best way is to do this from a PC. Just hit the Buy-It-Now and then request a combined invoice. If you are on a phone or tablet using the eBay app, it doesn't allow you to do this. Shipping will depend on the combined weight and value of the items.
