Vintage Action Man Armoured Car,
the original design produced by Irwin / Palitoy,
The blow-molded Armoured Car first appeared in the 1969,
this is the updated 1973 model which was replaced shortly after by the 1974 scout car.
The design is believed to be based on the British Army's "Ferret' Armoured vehicle.
This later model featured the complete wheels, aerial and clear plastic headlights,
the machine gun, aerial and one of the headlights are missing as is very common.
Molded in the Coalville Pailtoy Factory but with Irwin Branding on the underside.
Measures approximately 50 x 26.5 x 20 cm's.
In very good general condition, the body was built to be very rugged,
the machine gun, aerial and one of the headlights are missing,
as is common for these more fragile parts,
A little dusty inside and out from storage,
and with light scuffs from play as you would expect,
otherwise very good, the metal axels show no corrosion,
all as shown in the pictures.
