The jacket and the trousers, together.

This set pairs the pack-away waterproof jacket with the matching over trousers in the same colour, so there is nothing left uncovered when the weather turns. Both pieces are made from PVC coated polyester rated to 4000mm hydrostatic head, with every seam taped to close the stitch holes that let water through first.

The jacket has a fold away hood that tucks into the collar, elasticated cuffs and reflective piping across the chest and hood. It folds into its own pocket, so it lives in a school bag until it is needed. The trousers pull straight on over school uniform, jeans or joggers, with an elasticated waist and no belt or buckle for a child to struggle with.

Both pieces wipe clean with a damp cloth. No washing machine needed after a muddy afternoon.
