Vintage 80s Lion Apparel Body-Guard Firefighter Turnout Gear Fireman Jacket Bunker Coat is Manufactured in 1989 [Complete with removable liner]. It meets the structural fire fighting protective garment requirements of NFPA 1971 (1986 Edition).  100% Nomex Aramid (7.5 oz. sq. yd.) Yellow Outer Shell with bold high-vis orange striping.  Nomex Aramid Quilt Thermal Liner & FR Neoprene coated polycotton moisture barrier. Other features are iconic metal lobster-claw/tote clasps and a corduroy collar with a throat strap. Wonderful for collectors, vintage fashionistas, or the Gorpcore/streetwear crowd!

Pre-owned Condition but ready for more! Outer shell has natural patina, cosmetic smudges, light wear to the yellow canvas/reflective trim consistent with its age and authentic service history.  No flaws on the quilt inner lining but that liners shell has spot stains allover from service use (not shown in photos).  All snaps and heavy metal buckle clasps work great.
