A sprawling, genre‑shifting landmark, *Sandinista!* captures The Clash at their most experimental and boundary‑breaking. Originally released in 1980 as an ambitious triple‑album, it blends punk, dub, reggae, funk, gospel, rockabilly and left‑field studio explorations into a wildly inventive 36‑track statement. This 2017 European 180g remastered reissue presents the full set with renewed clarity, highlighting standout moments such as The Magnificent Seven, Hitsville U.K., Police On My Back, Somebody Got Murdered, Charlie Don’t Surf and Washington Bullets. A definitive edition of one of the band’s most daring releases.
