British Mod Sounds Volume 2 explores the vibrant Freakbeat and Psych era through a curated selection of essential tracks from the mid‑60s to early‑70s. Compiled by Eddie Piller, the collection highlights the transition from sharp‑edged mod energy into the colourful, experimental world of psychedelic rock. Featuring classics, cult favourites and deep cuts from artists including The Yardbirds, The Who, Small Faces, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie and The Kinks, this set captures the creativity and boundary‑pushing spirit of the period. A definitive companion to Volume 1, this compilation celebrates one of the most inventive chapters in British rock history.
