A fierce return from UK death‑thrash legends Cancer, Spirit In Flames delivers a razor‑edged blend of groove‑laden riffs, snarling vocals and dark, atmospheric hooks. Originally released in 2005, the album marked a revitalised era for the band, balancing their classic death‑metal roots with a sharper, more contemporary thrash attack.
This 2022 Back On Black limited edition, pressed on Red vinyl, gives the album a bold collector’s presentation while retaining the raw, aggressive production that defines Cancer’s sound. A must‑have for fans of UK death metal, thrash‑infused brutality and the band’s post‑millennium resurgence.
