Red Roses For Me is the raw, raucous debut from The Pogues, blending punk energy with traditional Irish folk instrumentation and storytelling. Shane MacGowan’s unmistakable vocal grit meets driving rhythms, tin whistles, accordions and bar‑room melodies, capturing the band at their most youthful and fiery.
This 2023 European 180‑gram reissue presents the album with excellent clarity and weight, housed in a Mint sleeve and delivered factory‑sealed. A cornerstone release for fans of folk‑punk, Celtic rock and The Pogues’ early catalogue.
