TOILETPAPER Magazine Issue #4 (November 2011) is an early issue of the cult visual art publication created by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari.
Published by the DESTE Foundation for Contemporary Art, this issue features the striking black-and-white “Two of Spades” cover and the surreal, provocative photographic imagery that made TOILETPAPER internationally recognizable. Blending contemporary art, photography, fashion, advertising aesthetics, and dark humor, the magazine functions as both an art periodical and an artist’s book, with virtually no conventional editorial text.
Issue #4 was published in 2011 during the early years of TOILETPAPER and is now out of print. A highly collectible publication for admirers of Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, as well as collectors of contemporary photography, artist books, and independent art magazines.
