included is a picture of an open version of this figure extremely rare in the West Coast especially new. Fabric clothing.

This is the Yutaka 1/12 Scale Leon S. Kennedy Action Figure from the Biohazard 2 / Resident Evil 2 toy line, released in Japan in 1998.

This particular figure holds a unique place in vintage Resident Evil merchandise history due to how it was constructed compared to later lines like Palisades Toys or NECA.

Key Features & Design

• Fabric Clothing / Soft Goods: Unlike standard completely molded plastic figures, this release features real fabric / soft goods tailoring for Leon's blue and black R.P.D. uniform.

• High Articulation Base: The diagram on the back of the box highlights a highly articulated internal base body, mapping out points like the wrist spin, finger grip, ankle bends, and thigh turning to allow dynamic action poses.

• Accessories: It originally shipped completely boxed with his signature weapons, accessories, and a Japanese instruction sheet.

Because this was a 1998/1999 Japanese market import rather than a standard Western retail release, it is exceptionally rare to find completely intact
