Mazda 6 Sport Tourer with the 2.0 Skyactiv G petrol engine in 'Deep Crystal Blue Metallic'. I've owned this car for over two years now and it's been faultless, the best car I've ever owned. We've now gone electric and i have too many cars!
The car is in perfect mechanical condition, benefitting from a full (actually full, not 2 services from 10 and 7 years ago) service history and I've recently done all the little jobs to make it A1. It has had two new front suspension arms, a service, a washer fluid return valve, and a speaker repair. Air conditioning is ice cold, tracking is perfect, and the engine is smooth and economical. There are a few cosmetic imperfections that were there when I bought the car but nothing too major.
The best bit about this car is the condition of the underside. Some of these Mazda's are getting pretty crusty underneath now depending on environment; I looked at two prior to buying this that looked like submarines. This one is less rusty than some three year old cars and a good clear wax treatment will see this car another 15 years.
Car is on 110k miles but drives incredibly well. MOT until April 2027.
Good points:
- (actual) full service history.
- Two new suspension arms so no outstanding MOT advisories.
- Excellent 2.0 petrol engine that is bulletproof and will return nearly 50mpg on a run.
- All features (auto-dimming mirror, heated seats, memory seats, aircon, emergency braking system, i-eloop, Bose stereo, parking sensors, reverse camera, cornering headlights) work perfectly.
- No rattling Bose speakers (common problem).
- HPI clear.
- Incredibly clean underneath, only minimal surface rust.
- 2 keys.
Bad points:- Will need front tyres at next MOT.
- Cracked paint on rear bumper (as when i purchased the car).
- Few marks and scrapes.
- Some kerbing to alloys but nothing major.
