THE PRICE FOR THE 6 PIN PLUGS HAVE GONE UP AGAIN!

PRICE IS FOR 1 Set NEW

Leads works with all Rycom 6 pin

These will NOT! work with Subsite 6 pin locators, but I sell and make both.

I Ship World Wide on request,

***The wire is completely made and sold in USA, which I like and helps buffer from tariffs and poor quality issues.***

What most folks on Ebay won't tell you is the pins on most locator plugs only accept about a 65 strand multi tinned wire because of their size and the limited space for the wires without shorting, so to make with the larger AWG either they have to cut down the wire count, or you end up having mechanical stress from forcing it past the  strain relief or covers for these plugs.

My leads are 14 feet on this batch, because I wasn't paying close enough attention when I was cutting this batch. After 7 or so leads will go back to standard 20 foot, if you need longer let me know in the meantime.

As stated above, you may not need a ground extension, but if you do I can make those also.

These leads work on the Rycom 6 pin models, these do no work on the Subsite units. but I can make jumpers for those or make Subsite  leads also, just a different wire soldered in the lead set.  The first two lead sets have recylced ends, but moving forward will be new, they work just fine and were tested.

Let me know if you have clamps and the ends and I may be able to give you a discount for the old parts, the wire is the cheapest part to replace.

These are the better plugs from Mouser they keep going up in price, they have tripled in price since a couple of years ago!

I test each set as well as use a high quality American multi tinned copper wires from a local wire company. The end clamps are steel and are sturdy and have worked well on 100's of the leads I have made or sold. Tariff proof local made and sold wire here in the US.

The lead ends were generally Mueller, but honestly the quality keeps going down for the price, there is little to no difference between the Amazon brands and the Mueller, the Mueller used to be bigger and thicker, but now likely the same. Price on everything keeps climbing, so want to balance the best set up with the best price. I can also make the larger clamps sets if you like, let me know, those are generally a bit more because they are more expensive.

They are 18 AWG multi tinned copper at 65 strands. The AWG 14 wires from the OME and many other makers on here, don't necessarily have more strand count, often they are just thicker insulation and more wires but thinner. I have had excellent luck with this manufacture and they are out of Arizona. It is the strand count along with a good insulator covering that helps these be durable and strong. I see leads for sale on here with solid wires. That is fine for occasional use, but you want high quality wire that is flexible for daily heavy use. I also see solid steel strands online for less, but don't see how those will work for flexibility?

I reinforce several layers and solder all the ends for the clamps and the ends to ensure that they are secure, not just crimped.

Total Marine grade shrink wrap for leads 3 layers with adhesive lined wrap. It takes longer and costs a little more, but makes the leads very resistant to ripping or tearing. I use two layers on the 6 pin one for the wires and one to seal the whole plug and reinforce.

My wire comes from a American company out of Arizona.

I can make many other type of lead and will be posting more online. If you send pics or the old leads I may be able to replace them with new parts depending on how many you want.

I also can make jumper plugs for your set up to use regular 1/4 inch jacks if you are interested let me know and I can source the parts.
