MPC Promo BOBBY ALLISON 1971 Dodge Charger Box, Display, Book & Autographs 1/25

Here is another rare one! This is the 1971 Dodge Charger R/T “Bobby Allison“ promotional version. The model has had the decals applied many years ago. There are a few imperfections here and there that a little time and light polish would certainly remedy. All wheels roll freely.

The original box is actually an MPC “wrapped“ 1971 Dodge charger promo box that has information about Bobby Allison and his number 12 grand national Dodge. The box has some writing and parts of the wrap have come loose over the years. One of the end flaps has been repaired very tastefully. The box also has some pre-cut cardboard inside that can be used to keep it sturdy when being displayed.

Also included is Bobby Allison‘s 395 page hardback book entitled “MIRACLE“. It still has its original dust cover and was autographed by Bobby in October 2008 at the Lake Mirror Classic Concours Car Show in Lakeland Florida.

Also included is another autograph on a separate card that measures 4 1/2“ x 2 1/2“ and is mounted inside of the glass display case.

Included in the display case is a 4 inch diameter gold threaded cloth patch from Bobby Allison racing of Hueytown Alabama. There is also a 2.5“ x 2.5“ cloth Coca-Cola patch that may have been used on one of Bobby Allison‘s jackets. (I have no way of confirming that).

The heavy 12 inch tall by 11 inch wide and 7 inch deep glass case with wood base is also included. What a great group of items. Ready to be displayed as is.
