Wonderful D loco in Gauge 1 from Marklin.  This loco has incredible original paint work - the lining is crisp and vibrant.  The rear trailing truck and wheels were missing, so they were added with contemporary parts.  Steam domes are also plastic replacements painted to look like the original nickel-plated brass. Light paint chips have been darkened to match age.  Tender coal sheet was missing and added. Mechanism was tested and seems to just keep winding so will likely need repair.  Overall a wonderful loco that presents very well and is a great example of fine Marklin hand-painting.
