A fascinating and highly specialised book for shifter kart racing enthusiasts, motorsport collectors and karting historians. Memo Gidley’s Secrets of Speed for Shifter Kart Racing provides practical information covering driving techniques, engine setup, data acquisition, maintenance and other aspects of competitive shifter kart racing.
This is a 2003 first edition paperback and an interesting copy due to a number of apparent printing/production anomalies discovered during photography.

Condition: Very Good Condition — generally clean and well preserved with only light scuffing/wear around the cover edges.
Printing/Production Anomalies: During photography, several pages were found where substantial portions of the main printed content area are missing, while the surrounding coloured page design, page numbers and side panels remain printed. The affected pages are:
52, 53, 60, 61, 69, 83, 93 and 101 — substantial areas of missing main content.
74 and 92 — approximately half of the main content area is affected.
These appear to be printing/production anomalies, rather than damage caused by use or storage. The affected pages are clearly photographed in the listing so buyers can see exactly what is present. The book is otherwise in Very Good Condition.
