A Royal Worcester porcelain thimble painted and signed by Powell (William Powell). It depicts a Blue Tit perched on a branch with blossom with gilt borders. Height 2.5cm. It has a puce printed factory mark; three linked circles and 5 dots, dating this thimble to 1937. It is in very good condition; no cracks or chips; tiny gilt brush smudges on base (last photo).
