Ten vintage, early plastic, Bakelite, brass 'nurses buckle', mother of pearl, etc. The large Bakelite buckle is Art Deco and measures 10cm x 5cm wide. The example with mother of pearl inserts is  impressed “Germany” and “Geschützt” (patent pending) on the reverse. The vintage brass ‘nurse’s buckle’ is stamped ‘patent’. Thes buckles would add a touch of vintage style to any outfit. I have added 3 vintage ‘hook’ buckles/ clasps, but they are missing one half, but may be useful for a sewing project. All in good condition with any wear inkeeping with age and use; metal prongs tarnishing; brass has some breass polish residue.
