This is a metal number plate from an electric multiple unit (EMU) train operated by BDZ (Bulgarian State Railways).

The trains consist of four carriages, each with its own individual number. This plate comes from a train with the set number 32 141/32 341/32 342/32 142; the plate was located on one of the intermediate (non-driving) carriages.

These electric trains have since been withdrawn from service; they were manufactured at the Riga Carriage Works (RVR) in Latvia during the era of the Soviet Union
