IB IL 24 SEG/F-D-PAC Inline Segmentation Module is an industrial remote I/O component designed for use within modular Phoenix Contact Inline Stations.
Core Technical Specifications
Voltage Rating:24 V DC nominal (Operational range: 19.2 V DC to 30 V DC).
Maximum Current Consumption: Up to 4 A nominal from the main supply voltage (\(U_{M}\)) and segment supply (\(U_{S}\)).
Internal Fusing: Ships standard with a replaceable 5x20 mm 6.3 A slow-blow fuse (6,300 AT).
Inline Bus Power Draw (\(U_{L}\)): Max 25 mA at 7.5 V DC (drawn via the internal data jumpers).
Data Width: Occupies 2 input data bits on the local bus to communicate diagnostics back to the master controller.
Physical Dimensions:12.2 mm width × 119.8 mm height × 71.5 mm depth.
Ingress Protection:IP20 rated (intended for clean, dry control cabinet installation
Bus Diagnostics & LED States
The module incorporates an onboard diagnostic tracking system that communicates fault logs directly to the higher-level PLC if power fails or the internal circuit breaks:
Diagnostic Bit 1: Identifies whether the input supply voltage is present.
Diagnostic Bit 2: Flags the physical status of the module's fuse.
LED "D" (Green): Steady ON means the local bus is active. Flashing at 2 Hz indicates the local bus communication power is present, but the main supply voltage (\(U_{M}\)) is missing or the internal fuse has blown.
LED "E" (Red): Lights up to signal a local I/O error (such as a blown or missing fuse)
