A large 16mm film reel (1350ft) of at least 11, Wartime Gaumont news articles from 1943/44, including:

1. War in the far east, invasion of Tarawa

2. Prime Minister meets allied leaders

3. French resistance activity

4. Churchill visits Quebec

5. Submarine Ultar comes home

6. War across Europe

7. The King and Queen tour Lancashire

8. Allies along the Rhine

9. Destroyer Launched

10. Roving Camera

11. Preparing the homes of the future

12. Closing title

There is about 1350ft here giving a run time of about 37minutes in total. The pictures show full scans of the print to give an indication of the sprocket and sound track conditions. Please refer to the pictures and video for an idea of optical quality. Only small parts of the footage have been scanned. This has not been run through a projector, and is old film, so will have lines, scratches, splices, sprocket damages, and other age-related faults. It may require cleaning. In my opinion there is no vinegar smell, nor serious warping or shrinkage.
