Wood Boutique Classic Plane Series: He51 Heinkel
Released by the Sun-Star Stationery Co., these kits were made sometime between 1978 and 1985. Sun-Star Stationary first registered the official US trademark for the “Wood Boutique” brand name on December 28, 1979, noting that they began using it in commerce on July 16, 1978. The trademark was officially canceled in 1987. If a trademark is not used in commerce for 3 consecutive years, the law presumes you have abandoned it, which results in the trademark being canceled. Given that the trademark was lost in 1987, these kits could only have been produced as late as 1985.
These Wood Boutique models come from Japan, and are featured as part of the Stanley King Collection at the Smithsonian National Air And Space Museum. These are complete vintage balsa wood kits from a “dead brand” in unopened condition.
These came to us in a sealed case, however the boxes do show signs of wear due to age/storage. It is also important to note that the tape has started to dry out and fail on a few of these, we cannot guarantee that every box will have the tape intact. That being said these are complete and in unopened condition. Truly great pieces for their age!

Orders totaling over $300.00 (including Sales Tax & Shipping) will be shipped with Signature/Delivery Confirmation.
We generally ship via USPS. However in certain circumstances, such as peak shipping periods, we reserve the right to substitute comparable FedEx/UPS shipping services (at no additional cost to you) to ensure that your items arrive in a safe & timely manner.
International orders are handled by eBay's International Shipping Program (eIS). Through the International Shipping Program orders are shipped to an eBay Processing Center, the Processing Center in turn ships the item to the destination country; unfortunately we have zero control over this process and/or the associated cost.
International orders can not be combined after payment: eBay's International Shipping Program requires a unique tracking number for each order. If you wish to combine multiple items into one single shipment they must be added to the shopping cart, and paid for as a single purchase.
Payment is due within 4 days of winning. After that time, orders will be canceled and items will be relisted.
