A gorgeous vintage nightgown from the 1940s! Soft and cold rayon in off white with deep plunging neckline, pleated bust and wide straps in back. Bias cut skirt and self tie at waist. Charming embroidered leaf detail at left shoulder, and one single leaf at front waist. Labeled “Artemis, size 34 Long”. Fair to good condition; some pink stains down left side of bodice (color bleed?) tiny pin holes scattered throughout skirt, and some yellow stains. Small tear at base of v neck. Further inspection reveals the leaf at the waist is cleverly hiding a small hole. As found, have not washed.
