1. HDD (Converted to CompactFlash)
Installed a brand-new Transcend 4GB CompactFlash card as an HDD replacement.
Microsoft Windows 98 has been clean-installed for system testing purposes.
Please delete the installed Windows 98 after confirming operation.
2. Floppy Disk Drive (FDD)
Disassembled and cleaned using an air blower and anhydrous ethanol.
Operation tested and confirmed.
Magnetic head cleaned using a wet-type head cleaner.
3. DVD/CD Drive
Equipped with a Hitachi-LG DVD Super Multi Drive.
Connected to the system via IDE (ATAPI) using a SATA-to-IDE adapter board.
Successfully tested for disc reading under Windows 98 and MS-DOS 6.2 using the standard drivers included with these operating systems.
No special drivers are required for recognition and operation.
Cleaned using an air blower and anhydrous ethanol.
Disc writing functionality has not been tested, as the necessary writing software was unavailable.
4. Internal Backup Battery
Replaced the internal battery used for memory and date retention with a brand-new battery of the same type.
Date retention has been tested and confirmed.
5. Power Supply Unit
Disassembled and thoroughly cleaned using an air blower and anhydrous ethanol.
Replaced the electrolytic capacitors with Japanese-made capacitors as preventive maintenance.
No electrolyte leakage was observed in the original capacitors.
Voltage measurements and operational tests were completed successfully.
6. Motherboard / Front Panel Circuit Board / C-Bus Slots
Removed and cleaned the circuit boards.
Cleaned using an air blower and anhydrous ethanol.
Operation tested and confirmed.
7. LAN Board
Equipped with a BUFFALO LGY-98 LAN board.
Successfully tested under Windows 98.
Confirmed 10BASE-T link establishment.
Network connectivity verified through successful Ping communication tests.
8. Chassis / Exterior
Please refer to the listing photos for the exterior condition, including scratches, stains, dents, rust, and other signs of use.

The computer has been serviced, overhauled, and tested for proper operation.
The DVD/CD drive has been tested for reading discs, but writing functionality has not been tested.

This is a Japanese 100V model. A suitable step-down transformer is required when using it in countries with higher mains voltage.
