Description
Offered here is a Superior TD-55 tube tester. All indications point to this unit being in good working order. I tried a 12AU7 that tested a bit below NOS rating, and the needle moved up to an appropriate position on the meter. I tried another 12AU7 that tested at full NOS rating, and the needle moved to an appropriate position as well. I will not guarantee that this tester is in fully calibrated working order, but from what I tested on it, it is working fine. There are ten pages of testing data/tube chart included. I think this is the full list that originally came with the tester, but cannot be certain. There are no directions included, and the buyer will have to find those on their own. A quick search on the internet, or a query within a vacuum tube online group will surely help. If buyer has a bit of prior knowledge working with tube testers, he/she will find this tester fairly basic to use. BUT I URGE BUYER TO SEEK OUT DIRECTIONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE.
