Here we are delighted to offer for sale a fantastic matching pair of vintage Liden banks of drawers dating from the 1970s, featuring distinctive retro styling and an attractive natural plywood and birch finish.
These unusual pieces have a lovely understated aesthetic, with natural wood tones and clean, simple lines that make them ideal for lovers of vintage furniture and mid-century-inspired interiors.
An interesting feature of these Liden drawer units is that they were originally marketed to be painted by the purchaser, allowing owners to personalise them to suit their own tastes and interiors. As a result, examples retaining their natural wood appearance are quite rare, making this pair a particularly appealing find for collectors and vintage furniture enthusiasts.
Both units have been carefully oiled and waxed to enhance and nourish the natural wood finish, bringing out the warmth and character of the plywood and birch while preserving their attractive vintage appearance.
Practical as well as stylish, these versatile banks of drawers offer useful storage and would work beautifully in a bedroom, dressing room, living space or home office. Their natural finish and authentic 1970s character would complement Scandinavian-inspired, mid-century modern and eclectic interiors.
