I just found this card in a random box of cards I bought. I almost thought it was the real card from 1951 until I turned it over and saw the sweepstakes advertisement. This indicates it is from the much later 1989 Bowman series. Therefore, it is definitely a reprint, and to use the appropriate terminology on eBay, I clicked “licensed reprint.” I don’t think old sweepstakes cards from 1989 had card numbers. It is still 34 years old. The card is hand-cut beautifully, but please see the photos as I am not a professional grader and cannot guarantee a specific grade. I don’t even know if they grade cards that are altered like this one.
