Promo Greninja cards always feel a little special to me ( • ̀ω•́ )✧
This one is XY162 from the XY Promos set.
It is a holofoil promo, so it was never part of a normal booster set. Greninja is one of the most loved starters out there. If you want the promo version rather than the regular set print, this is the one.
P.S It was originally included in special Pokémon XY Evolutions single-pack blisters, released November 2, 2016, rather than pulled directly from a booster pack. Its distinctive swirling holo pattern and action-packed Greninja artwork by Sanosuke Sakuma make it a great collectible from the XY era!
- 🔍Cosmos HOLO: This beautiful Greninja XY162 Black Star Promo Holo features stunning holographic artwork that shines beautifully under the right lighting! Please note that the holo effect doesn't show very clearly in my photos. 🌈
- ⚠️ Condition: LP/NM (Lightly Played / Near Mint) – There is some whitening on the top-right and bottom-right corners on the back of the card. Overall, the card is very clean and in great shape! I would consider its condition somewhere between Near Mint (NM) and Lightly Played (LP). Please review all photos carefully to judge the condition for yourself before purchasing!
Greninja is a Water type Stage 2 with 130 HP. Aqua Shower does 20 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon, bench included. Dual Cut flips two coins and hits for 60 damage per heads. Retreat cost is just one.
If you collect Greninja, promos, or classic XY era cards, this one belongs in your binder!
