Up for sale is an extremely rare and high-end automatic chronograph from the legendary Japanese Seiko Brightz Phoenix series (Reference SAGH009). This model was produced exclusively for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM). The original MSRP was, a high-end price tag of approx. $3,590 back in 2010.
This watch comes from a very special era: It was crafted in the famous Shizukuishi Watch Studio – the elite high-end manufacture in Japan where mechanical Grand Seiko and Credor masterpieces are assembled by hand.
Inside ticks the mechanical highlight: The Seiko In-House Caliber 6S37 with column-wheel control and a power reserve indicator at 4:30 o'clock. A truly rare, high-grade chronograph movement that is technically in a completely different league than standard chronograph movements.
Condition:
The watch is in a well-maintained, pre-owned condition. To be absolutely transparent: There are minor, superficial scratches on the left side of the case and a tiny pinpoint mark on the black tachymeter bezel (please see photos). Otherwise, the watch is visually in top shape, and the sapphire crystal is completely flawless.
