⚙️ FUNCTION & PRINCIPLE
Stores transmission fluid, filters contaminants from circulating fluid, and protects the transmission bottom. Aluminum structure helps dissipate heat. Transmission fluid returns to the pan, passes through the filter to remove particles, and is drawn by the oil pump into the hydraulic system for circulation. The pan connects to the transmission body with a gasket and bolts to help prevent leaks.
