An original printed postcard. Unposted, but with message and address
Published by Raphael Tuck in ‘The Nursery Series’ - Christmas Postcard No. 8079
The current 'TuckDB' online database gives Louis Wain (unsigned) as the artist for this series (See third photo). The 2003 Louis Wain catalogue by Lund and Booth did not include this series, but it may perhaps have been added in Brian Lund's regular updates to the checklist over the following years in the Picture Postcard monthly magazine
A rare postcard in any case with one rabbit in a kilt and another playing the bagpipes.
Very light tip wear, and faint album corner marks.
Still in fairly good overall condition.
