In 1945, the British Ministry of Supply commissioned what would become one of the most legendary military watches ever created.

Only twelve Swiss watchmakers were selected to produce a timepiece built to uncompromising military specifications: a matte black dial, luminous Arabic numerals, chronometer-grade precision, 
"Dirty Dozen" GRANA
Experts estimate that only 1,000 to 1,500 Grana Swiss manufacturers of the era,
Dark chocolate colored dial and look the case back  is held in place by four screws which, despite the passage of time, can be opened without problems.

In common with most pieces of this grade, it isn’t going to be an inexpensive purchase, but treated well, 
it will last a lifetime and only ever appreciate in value.
This is a rare watch in relatively good condition, but needs revision.
