Antique & Vintage Photographs

This is a 35mm transparency / slide.

It shows a Dassault Super Mystère jet fighter in brown and green camouflage, taxiing from right to left along a perimeter track bordered by grass. A French roundel is visible on the rear fuselage, and a squadron badge is carried on the fin. The pilot can be seen in the cockpit under the canopy. Low hills and a cloudy sky form the background. The mount carries a paper label with the handwritten place name 'Chivenor', which identifies the setting as Chivenor, Devon. The label also has handwritten figures in black and green ink.
