An original Louis Wain postcard sent in 1904.
Published by Tuck in an earlier ‘writeaway’ series 1004. Designed in England and chromographed in Saxony. Three cats having a merry time on the ice. Someone has written names next to each cat in fairly light ink.
There is a little light creasing to the left corners, and one or two stray specks of franking ink. On the back, there is a bigger diagonal crease on the left, but it doesn’t show up too much on the front.
A few small blemishes, but a nice image.
