An original set of six Violet Roberts postcard. Unposted.
Published by Tuck in about 1918, this hard-to-find set features cats dressed as soldiers and the young women who catch their eye. The British artist Violet Roberts was best known for her Louis Wain style cats in human situations.
The set includes the rare ‘Charlie Chaplin Mad!’ postcard which is invariably missing from the set.
In very good overall condition. Just some very minor tip wear, and the faintest marks at the corners where they have been in a postcard album.
