Post-War Design: The dark-blue textured cardboard box featuring a gold oval and minimalist geometric lines is characteristic of the first editions Waddingtons released following Canasta's global boom in 1949–1950. [1, 2]

• Manufacturing Details: The card wrappers and branding are marked John Waddington Ltd. Leeds & London, and the scoring table card features De La Rue London, reflecting the collaborative production between the two historic British card companies during this period

The cards have some very light wear light commensurate with age, apart frm which they are in excellent condition

The box has some light wear, mainly to the edges and corners
