A fantastic pair of vintage "tall tale" and exaggerated fishing humor postcards, featuring incredible local South Jersey vacation history!

What is included:
* Card 1 (Bottom): Rare 1930 white-border era comic titled "It's dangerous fishing here" (Freak Fish Comic Series No. 2477). Features a clear July 11, 1930 Sea Isle City, NJ postmark with a 1-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp. The handwritten message reads: "I am spending two days here at Sea Isle City," sent to Vineland, NJ.
* Card 2 (Top): Mid-century linen-era exaggeration postcard titled "Here's The Fish I Promised You" showing a giant bass loaded onto a railroad flatcar. Unposted/unused back.

* Condition: Excellent vintage condition! Both cards have strong corners, very minor edge wear, and exceptionally bright colors. The 1930 Sea Isle City card has incredibly dark, clear fountain pen handwriting and a sharp postmark (please see close-up photos).
