Key Features

• ✔ A rare set of three original Rolex Bubbleback “Hooded” advertisements from *LIFE* magazine, dating to 1947. The ads feature the scarce hooded Bubbleback model and are historically significant reference material documenting the model’s existence at the time. The third image shows an advertisement printed on the reverse side of the page.
• ✔ The magazine page has been cut out and is irregular rather than a precise rectangle. It was purchased at an antique market at Roppongi Roa Building around 1990 and stored in a book archive. It remains in good overall condition, with some age-related fading and slight waviness. A handwritten “47” appears beside “235 / 31”; its meaning is uncertain but may refer to 1947. No smoking or pets in the storage environment. Ships protected in a clear sleeve with backing board and cushioning.
