Up for auction/sale is a highly collectible copy of Slayer’s legendary album, Reign in Blood (Expanded Edition), dual-signed by Tom Araya and Jeff Hanneman.
This item was discovered left behind inside a rental property. The physical CD features the manufacturing catalog code 88697 12882 2, verifying it as the expanded reissue from American Recordings.
Autograph & Placement Details:
• Tom Araya (Lead Vocals/Bass): Signed in black permanent marker on the back panel of the paper booklet insert. Features his classic, high-speed fluid looping script.
• Jeff Hanneman (Lead Guitar/Co-Founder): Signed in black permanent marker directly on the front clear plastic jewel case. Showcases his distinct, highly sought-after stylized cursive initial style.
Condition Notes:
• Signatures: As is common with marker signatures on clear plastic and smooth paper surfaces, there is minor cosmetic ink thinning and fading in tiny spots along the marker paths where the ink didn't absorb completely into the material.
• Jewel Case: The plastic jewel case shows wear and has two distinct cracks. There is a crack along the very bottom edge of the front lid, and a second crack running up the spine of the case.
• Insert & Disc: The paper booklet itself remains crisp with no major tears or stains aside from Tom's signature on the back. The audio disc is included.
Please review the high-resolution photos carefully to evaluate the ink layout, signature placement, and jewel case cracks.
Item ships securely packed in heavy bubble wrap to protect the CD case and booklet during transit. Free tracking included.
